“I'd be willing to bet it's not technically "refurbished." I remember getting one of these a while ago (except it was 1 rung shorter... and from Tanga) and it has a sticker on it that says "Little Giant Certified Demo." Odds are pretty good that these were babied by a sales rep someplace but they have to disclose that these aren't really "brand new." The only "damage" on mine were a few scratches on the rungs where the rep was probably putting the little accessory attachment things... ...No company in their right mind would let a legal liability out the door, so to answer your question: No, I don't have any problem using a "refurbished" ladder.”

“Before everyone starts asking: Yes it's worth the money, and yes it's better than Cutco. I picked up the Fusion* version of this in a wootoff just before Culinary D-Day last year and it's awesome enough that I'd use expletives if it was permitted here. It can definitely make its way around a bird better than any carver I've ever handled and is better for slicing breast pieces (technically it's a "slicer" anyway). *the only difference between this and mine is the blade steel (the Fusion has SG2 and this one has VG10) and a decorative steel end cap on the Fusion.”

“So I'm sitting at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles with a fellow wooter stuffing my face with half a fried chicken doused in creamy onion gravy and 2 giant waffles with 2 scoops of butter and obviously HFCS syrup, and it's the most incapacitatingly delicious meal I've had in years. Then my daily woot alarm goes off and we both go to check the item at the same time. My friend doubled over in laughter, and I followed suit when I finally saw that it was... A TREADMILL? “In no particular order, I see some set theory, basic logic, 2 different fractals (one of which is the Mandelbrot set), what I THINK might be a topology from the integers mod n to the Reals mod n (never really understood topology...), definition of the set of rational numbers (the fancy "Q" lookin' thing), some stuff relating to Green's Theorem, a little cheat sheet for proving Euler's number (without all the fancy Taylor series to show why it works... but that's still cool), 4 of the 5 platonic solids, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (nice touch!), the quadratic formula, Escher's Möbius strip... ...wait a second, this is all in the shape of a heart? I guess I gotta get one of these! Although if you do something like this next time, maybe a proof of Bolzano–Weierstraß? I failed Real analysis twice due partly to that damn theorem...”
