“Looks like it from the photo. Screw tops work better than corks, actually (for storage, not aging). The reason you probably have a bad taste in your mouth about them is that the better wineries seem to be slow to adopt them, so a lot of the screw tops out there are from cheaper, often bad, wineries. In the past couple years there have been several exceptional winemakers that have started shifting their wines to screw top (including Meeker, whose pink elephant was screw top and extremely good for a rose)...”
