“Wow, this is gorgeous. The style (shading, colours, "brush"-work) is really reminiscent of... hmm, maybe H.A. Rey? In the best way. Or just very beautiful 70's kids book illo. You know, the ones with the golden spines and this general style of art.”

“I'm so sorry you didn't get printed or an HM. I gave you all my votes. I love that design and would have bought three--despite it being on Anvil, even. Please let us (ME) know if you sub it elsewhere, and please, please don't give up drawing+submitting here or elsewhere! Though I'd be overjoyed if woot decided to surprise-HM print it.”

“Did you send your email on Saturday, the day of sale? Woot CSR work normal business hours, so that means that they do not work on weekends. Patience is advised after having sent a weekend email.
Did you check your spam folder(s) in case any replies got caught in there? That sometimes happens.
When you sent your email, did you receive an auto-generated email providing you with a case number? If not, it may mean that your email got lost somewhere in the great and winding intertubes. If so, they will get back to you, as that auto-mail means your issue is in the queue.
E-hiccups do occasionally happen, alas, so if none of the question/answers above apply to you, it wouldn't hurt to send another email off to service@woot.com.”

“I love the design with the text. I think it's an excellent, amusing allusion that works just as well with no prior knowledge of the prop. poster. It doesn't come off as cluttered at all. In fact, it's a perfect balance between giant image and quirky text. There's a strong Seussian feel to it, too, which I love. Definitely got my vote and a purchase if it prints here or elsewhere. Seeeecrets: I used to always cheat when playing Battleship. I wouldn't put my battleship all the way down into the set, so that when someone called what should have been a hit, I could say "miss" and discreetly move the ship over a peg, unhit for a couple more turns. I never got caught, but I would also limit my cheats to only two or three movements per game. The regular ships were played uncheated. It made playing Battleship so much more exciting. Titillating, even.”

“Ahhhh, frak. You're convincing me. I'm not fully convinced, nope (because of COURSE you wouldn't say "me chose," because we're conjugating "to choose" for "we" not the singular "I/me," so it'd be correct to say "the guy and me chose" when conjugating the verb associated to the object, right? Or... wrong? WHAT?!?), but the more I think about it, the more you seem to possibly be maybe right. Hells, I learned English grammar through Latin by French I didn't even yet speak. I know nothing. I hate you. STYLE!

“Yeah, I thought that might be a vague possibility, too. I was taught that, while "me" should (in the classroom/technically) come second when there are only two pronouns/blahblah, in literary use "me" can be listed according to importance in the sentence, whether it's two or more. So, in your original sentence, you as "me" are okay to be first, to emphasize your importance in the sentence over the classmate's. I obviously am no grammaticienne, though (LOOK, AT MY COMMA, ABUSE, WHAT), so it's all just style to me... and I am STYLIN'.”

“It was correctly written, so I'm not quite sure what you think you're pointing out. Mavyn was the object, not the subject, of the sentence, so she was correct to write "only me and... "”

“Verily, I say to exactly all of where a dreamsoul begins its sighing sorrows: it is unknown and sighing pathless, sure, but following the taste for bittersweet flood of heartneed is impossible to ignore in any lifestate, I declare as highest truth-attainment in right-now's teardroughted emptiness of self-known being. My salted losses attest to this, just as many's exactly do. Fellowship and loveship, shared. Fistbumps, too.
