“I love this shirt! I can't stand when people use that phrase,
"Well, like, you can't just compare apples to oranges man. *shakes head* Apples to oranges man... apples to oranges." Just like, I LOOOOOOOVE PONIES? Tell me I can't compare apples to oranges? You can totally compare (as well as contrast) apples and oranges! I'll f***** compare apples to oranges. Check it out:
both growin on trees, have multiple varieties of themselves, can be processed into very tasty juice beverages, are almost always part of the flavor-lineup in fruit-flavored candies, similar weights, similar sizes, similar shapes (depending on the types of apples/oranges used), etc. I *do* think it's kinda a funny coincidence that attempting to compare a [comparison of two items that are more different than they are similar], to a [comparison of apples compared to oranges], can itself be argued as a case of "comparing apples to oranges" lol”

“lol what a newb. Is this what your high school english teacher told you? You miss the point that literature can be interpreted in a multitude of different ways and often, no single interpretation is correct, unless explicitly stated by the author. I don't think a correct understanding of the book necessarily requires a strict interpretation of "whale = jesus/god." To quote the film the big lebowski, "that's just, like, your opinion, man." Also, learn to form your own opinions and stop regurgitating someone else's interpretation 
Additionally, pretty sure I saw this get rejected in a past derby a while back...”

“How does this not have more votes?... Some things really do never change I guess. I'm surprised there aren't more designs in this derby with some sort of subtle message/social commentary. Especially since, well, almost every "major" movie in the zombie genre contains some sort of main underlying social commentary in one way or another...”
