“I guess it goes to show that one man's garbage is another's treasure. I had a G-Tab and couldn't get rid of it fast enough. I tried many different ROMs and all had significant issues. Performance was sluggish. Battery life mediocre. Applications paled badly compared to what's available on iPad. But the absolute worst part, and what made the G-tab worthless to me, was the abominable screen quality.
On the iPad, instead of bothering with an HDMI cable you can directly stream to an AppleTV box using AirPlay (an optional HDMI dongle is available). There are also awesome games that use the iPad as a controller/display and stream a different picture to the TV. Cool uh. Nothing of the sort on Android... because of market fragmentation.”

“You can get a refurb iPad for the price of this , and not have to deal with the ridiculous Android market and its apps that don't quite work on your device for any number of reasons (video driver, video resolution, OS version, what have you). Android sucks.”

“The screen is a horrible, worthless piece of crap, rendering the tablet useless. Yes, you can buy a dock with HDMI connector. So what? You can also buy a little box the size of a pack of cigarettes that will play movies out of a USB memory stick or hard drive, or an SD card, out to composite or HDMI, for $32 on ebay. That's less than what the dock costs, AND it comes with a remote.
I have one, and I think it's a piece of garbage. I would use it as a client for my Vulkano box, except that the latest Vulkano software doesn't even work on it. Tegra, schmegra. Give me an iPad or a Nook Color any day. This is The Day the Ponies Come Back (2000).”
