“I'm not a fan for two practical reasons: 1, With all those edges, the non-stick on this puppy has to be better than everything else. 2, Also, the shape isn't really optimized for baking cake, unless you like your cake overdone on the outside or underdone in the middle. I haven't even got to the expense of the pan, the storage space requirements, or the fact that the second time you use it, the novelty has worn off.”

“And if it makes you feel any better still, I paid list price ($500) for DC25 about 3 years ago. It's an awesome vacuum cleaner. The difference between the DC25 and the DC24 are that the 24 has a telescopic handle for easier storage and is lighter. The DC25 is a bit bigger, a bit heavier, a little more powerful and has a bigger dirt collector. I wish I'd got the DC24, especially at this price!”

Since it's probably not solid gold, this is probably some sort of gold color that has been vapor-deposited on the metal. And no, that's not dirty. But yes, PVD coatings can chip off over time if you treat them badly (scratch them with diamonds, etc).”
